Last spring, New York photographer, Jordan Matter, 43, embarked on a project called ‘Dancers Among Us’ where professional dancers strike poses against iconic Manhattan backdrops. A little geurilla, very gorgeous – the shots showcase the dancers’ athletic grace at its finest.
The posers featured in ’Dancers Among Us’ are performance artists from the Paul Taylor Dance Company.
Matter has used location as diverse as St Patrick’s Cathedral, The Museum of Modern Art, Times Square and even the New York Yankees baseball stadium.
