Brent Barson: “F is for Fail”

  • SumoMe

This short film is for those who’ve ever loved the highs and lows of creative freedom. A freelance media designer and assistant professor of graphic design at Brigham Young University, Brent Barson indulges in personal work that is mainly on experimental short films, including the opening titles for the Typophile Film Festival.

Titled as F is for Fail: An Alphabetical Odyssey Through The Creative Process, Brent Barson’s short but enticing film is one that depicts the artist’s creative roller coaster. Told through type in a resonanting A to Z, F is for Fail highlights the times when ideas flow ever so easily and the frustrating moments of nursing bruises from the continual bumping into brick walls.
