Taking a step back from the over-the-top designs Kenzo is memorable for, the Spring 2010 Ready-To-Wear collection offers some clean lines and ethnic touches.

Kenzo Spring 2010 Ready-To-WearThe 2010 spring collection is looking mighty fine, by the past few looks Penny has featured. Another one to add to the fantastically colourful collective is the latest by Antonio Marras for Kenzo. Artuflly contemporary, the pieces that first came down the runway were beautifully draped, reflecting the current popularity with drop-crotch pants and angular shoulders.

Kenzo’s long dresses were also a big hit with its print, coupled with luxe belts and fitted jackets. Themed around a sort of glammed-up desert explorer, the outfits were sleek with its linen shirtdresses, delicate gold threads and even sequinned camo patterns.

The last few pieces were a burst of colour in aqua, pink and purple with models looking like African queens with their heads wrapped in delicate chiffon. The silk ensembles definitely lent an edge toward the whole collection, giving it a decorative and ethnic feel.
