An exclusive retail affair

The third level at Front Row is devoted to Adidas SLVR’s first “pop-up” store. A new retail concept in the Asia-Pacific region, the Adidas SLVR store will be around only for a limited period of time.

Open to the public in last month, it will close in July next year. The pop-up concept was chosen to offer shoppers a niche shopping experience that affords exclusivity. Adidas also wanted to promote the idea of shoppers chancing upon the line rather than displaying it in plain sight in malls.

Waste not

Best of all, pieces from the line are made from eco-conscious materials such as soybean fabric and methods which cut down the number of manufacturing steps needed. Worth the mention are the “zero waste T” made of a single piece of cloth sewn and cut just once and the “seven-piece shoe” made of seven pieces stitched together rather than the 25 components conventionally used to produce one shoe.
