Tampines is going to be even more crowded than it already is because people are coming together for a good cause! This is a chance for you to do your part in the nation’s effort in going green by recycling old items. Easy as that!
Recycling Day 2009 will be held at the field outside Tampines MRT Station this Saturday, 26th Sept 2009. This is part of the on-going efforts of The National Environment Agency (NEA) in involving and engaging its partners in the national 3R (Reduce-Reuse-Recycle) drive.
Raising awareness of the 3R messages will see students exercising their creativity and writing skills in a “3R Newsletter Competition”, of which the finals will be held during the event. Students will be putting their knowledge and imagination to the test by producing the most impacting and impressive newsletter that best conveys the message of recycling to the community.
There will also be vouchers and other goodies to be won so save the date and see you there with all your recyclable items!
