Pop star Justin Timberlake has landed himself a role in an upcoming movie about Facebook’s evolution from a 2004 student-created website to the 200 million member social networking site it is today.
Timberlake will play the role of Facebook’s founding president, Sean Parker, who is also Napster’s co-founder. Talk about enterprising.
The film titled “The Social Network” will be directed by Oscar nominated director David Fincher, Variety reported.
Jesse Eisenberg, whose films include “Adventureland” and “The Hunting Party,” is to play Facebook founder Harvard student, Mark Zuckerberg, the report added.
If you’re a JT fan, this is definitely not to be missed. And if you’re hot for Facebook, it’d be good to familiarise yourself with the social networking giant’s meteoric rise.
