If you’re one of those big Marc-Jacobs-can-do-wrong fans, this one’s for you.
A recommendation (or not) by Penny K
A warm floral scent that which features notes of pink peppercorn, pear d’anjou, ruby red grapefruit, fuchsia peony, rose, geranium, vanilla, tonka
bean and creamy musk.
Marc Jacobs Lola will be available in 30, 50 and 100 ml Eau de Parfum and with matching body products.
Since it’s not yet available in stores here, we’ve got no choice but to steal opinions. Here’s an opinion that we think is probably not far from the truth:
“Like so many of the department store fragrances released over the past few years, Lola smells instantly familiar, and it no longer seems worth taking the time to figure out just which other fragrances it smells like. Suffice it to say that Lola doesn’t break any new ground in terms of fragrance history.”
But hey, if you’re an avid perfume collector get it anyway because that bottle is just too retro-cool to pass up. It’s kitschy and plastic-y but then again, remember Marc Jacobs is all about the quirky.
